Living in Utrecht
The city of Utrecht is the fourth biggest city of the Netherlands and is located in the geographical middle of the country, therefore making it an attractive city to live in and do business.
The cozy canals of the city center may remind you of those in Amsterdam, as well as the city’s historical atmosphere and many small shops and cafes. You can explore most of the city center on foot or by bike, or even rent a canoe, if you feel like discovering the city via water. Overseeing it all is the country’s highest church tower, the Domtower.
Utrecht is an economical hub, and numerous companies, both start-ups and established ones, choose to locate their offices in and around the city. The city has many residential areas, suited for families, couples, singles and students alike. The city is also home to Utrecht University and other higher education institutions.
